The Alpoko River (アルポコ王国の川, Arupoko ōkoku no kawa) is a landmark within the Kingdom of Alpoko, and acts as a moat for Alpoko Castle. Its name is only mentioned by Typhoon Jane of the Typhoony Bunch. Fish can clearly be seen swimming in the river, as shown both in game and in cutscenes.
A bridge over the river connects the island containing the Castle to Castle Town, and is the only bridge to be constructed before Corobo's reign. For each Castle upgrade, it changes its materials: it begins as a tatty, long and wooden, before becoming a larger stone bridge, and finally becoming paved in red and gold. For the first and second iterations of the Castle, Grunt Soldiers will march across the bridge in the morning. Howser often runs onto this bridge to salute the river too.
Several events take place on this bridge. Ginger Kyde and the Typhoony Bunch are first encountered on this river, and Typhoon Mary thinks it "sucks". During the God UFO quest, Shizuka appears on the bridge three times after 8PM.
