The various mechanisms on which the game operates.


Anything Classroom

Tutorials for the game provided by Liam. See Anything Classroom for more.

Bol

The currency used in the game. Used to purchase from the Kingdom Plan, teach Royal Guard some Jobs, and complete certain Quests. See Bol for more.

Carefree Rock

A rock that allows civilians to return to Carefree Adults.

Construction

Performed at construction signs, and only Carpenter, Mega Carpenter, Giga Carpenter, and Craftian are capable of performing the action. After a build is partially constructed, non-soldier Jobs can contribute to the build by throwing resources.

Death

When a civilian runs out of HP, there is a chance they will permanently die. This will result in a funeral at the Soup Church. See Death for more.

Formations

Different ways of organizing your Royal Guard around Corobo. The default formation is the Battle formation, while Guard and Evade formations both have to be purchased from the Kingdom Plan.

Geyser

A rusable variation of hot springs that cleanses status effects without restoring health. See Geyser for more.

Glitches

Unintended abilities within the game. See glitches for more.

God Memo

Instructions on how to fight a boss provided by God. See God Memo for more.

Health

The number of points it takes for Corobo or citizens to die. Corobo has a fixed max health, while citizens' can be increased in a number of ways. Certain Kingdom Plan upgrades permanently increase their health, and certain Jobs grant more or less max health. Additionally, each civilian receives a random amount of health from each job.

Hot Spring

Allows Corobo and the Royal Guard to restore their HP and cure status effects. Can only be used a limited number of times before it dries up. They can only be unearthed by Hardworking Farmers or a Craftian. See Hot Spring for more.

Jobs

Classes available to all civilians. Members of the Royal Guard, can be given new jobs by sending them into See Jobs for more.

Kaboom Jump Cannon

A fast travel feature available from the Kingdom Plan. Cannons must be constructed before they can be used. See Kaboom Jump Cannon for more.

Kingdom Plan

Allows for new buildings to be constructed in Alpoko, and the unlocking of various upgrades in exchange for Bol. See Kingdom Plan for more.

Magic Crown

Grants the ability to add citizens to the Royal Guard. See Magic Crown for more.

Marriage

Sending two civilians that are in love into the church at the same time will result in a Marriage. This causes a Cuckoo to fly by and drop a pot that delivers a Carefree Child. See Soup Church for more.

Podium

An unlockable from the Kingdom Plan that allows Corobo to call citizens to the Royal Guard at will. See Podium for more.

Population

The number of citizens living in Alpoko. Cannot exceed 130. See Population for more.

Royal Guard

The ability for Corobo to add civilians to his party. The maximum number of the guard is dependent on the number of badges owned, which can be expanded in the Kingdom Plan after reaching certain milestones. See Royal Guard for more.

Scepter

Held by Corobo. Can be used to deal a 1 damage attack. See Scepter for more.

Spoils

Exchanged for Bol or Treasures upon sitting on the thrown. See Spoils for more.

Status Effects

Negative effects that the Royal Guard can suffer. Includes poison, burn, and snowman. See Status Effects for more.

Suggestion Box

Accessible from the Throne. Allows citizens to send letters that can be read, which may include various Quests. See Suggestion Box for more.

Tax

Royal Guard members can be sent into Buildings within Alpoko for a bit of Bol and some one-time rewards such as Treasures or Art Pieces. See Tax for more.

Throne

Allows Corobo to access a multitude of features, such as the Suggestion Box, Kingdom Plan, Anything Classroom, and more. See Throne for more.

Treasure Room

Where the game's various Treasures can be equipped to citizens. Accessible by calling Liam to the Throne, or through the upgraded Podium. See Treasure Room for more.

Tyrant Mode

Exclusive to the USA version, and PC Port of the game. A mode available after beating the game. Permanently locks the difficulty to Hard, and sets Corobo's and all citizens' maximum health to their lowest values. Health upgrades still work for citizens, but Corobo is permanently stuck with 1 HP. Also grants Pancho the ability to speak. See [[]] for more.
