Shadow Forest (ひかげの森, Hikage no mori) is the forest guarded by the Mush Geezer Guardian. It is accessed via Royal City to the south. After being conquered by Corobo, it becomes Magical Land. It is a small dying forest infested with fungi.
Geography
The forest is a single clearing ringed with both mushrooms and fungus-like trees. The forest appears to be dying, since both the ground and several withered trees show signs of decay. It contains a lone white mushroom at its center, which becomes the Mush Geezer Guardian, surrounded by little mushrooms like the Mushroom Forest, although some have a purple color too. The forest has no UMA by default, as it acts solely as an arena for the Mush Geezer fight.
When both this region and the Tiptoe Kingdom are conquered, the gate at the back opens up to allow access to both a constructible bridge to Sobamanjaro and the area known as Near New Island.
The ledge above this area belongs to the Primetime Kingdom, but features a hole with Mush Men as well some mushrooms on the ground, due to its close proximity to this forest
