Skull Plains Lake is a region lying in the center of the Skull Plains, at the foot of the hill containing a Jump Cannon. Corobo passes through this area on the way to the Primetime Kingdom. It is characteristic for having many UMA.

Geography

The entrance to this area is covered by a large boulder that has to be destroyed by a Ripped Miner or Craftian. It is defended by a Rocky, some Onii Hoppers, and a Pickle Pot Onii. Upon entering, a Golden Star will fall from the sky, The area itself houses a variety of UMA that have a chance of appearing, such as Onii Hoppers, Dragon Hoppers, Onii Cavalry, and Worker Onii (Cow). Some regular Onii throwing pots also line the cliff edges. A few rogue logs are also scattered around the lake itself.

Infamously, on a rare occasion, a Peakadeath or Okamemask may appear, which marks their only appearance in Little King's Story, as they do not appear in any Generated Quests.

The northern side of the lake contains a collection of pots, one of which contains an Art Piece. Further west is a sign sitting at the foot of a hill that reads "Dead end. Too bad. Try again." This supposed dead end, however, houses another Art Piece, a Crashed UFO, and a hidden crack in the ground containing some gold.

The west side contains the entrance to the Primetime Kingdom, with a welcome sign and blue florescent lights. If Corobo continues past this point, then he will be forced into the Screw-Loose Isles with no way to escape unless he defeats TV Dinnah. Later on, Corobo can travel between the Screw-Loose Isles and Skull Plains lake freely.

Once Corobo has defeated TV Dinnah, a barrier atop a hill in the Skull Plains Balls region is taken down, allowing a quick one-way shortcut back to the dead end if necessary. Furthermore, once both TV Dinnah and Omelet are defeated, several barriers in the southern section of the lake open onto the field in front of the Nature Maze, allowing freer movement around the Skull Plains.

Trivia

  • This is the only place to have unique UMA that never appear in any other locations or quests, with the Peakdeath and Okamemask.
  • The map erroneously depicts the Lake as being close to the northern hill of the area, whereas in-game there is a gap between the two with several breakable pots.
