This page refers to a region without a given name. The name used is therefore unofficial.

The "Dark Valley Main Path" refers to the lower road that passes through the Dark Valley. Towards the beginning of the story, King Corobo takes this way through the Valley upon his first visit to the area in order to meet the Onii King at the other end, defeat him, and claim the Onii Kingdom.

Geography

The main path is grassy and situated between two high cliff walls, with many types of Onii attempting to deter those passing through. Some attack on foot, while others throw rocks and pots from the clifftops into the Valley below. As a result, the ground is laden with shards of broken pots throughout. There are many small pots containing arrows throughout as well, which allows Corobo to fight back if he has an Animal Hunter in his Royal Guard. Montezuma's Castle-like structures lie within the cliff walls on either side.

The path through the Valley begins at the Thrown Pot Mound to the northeast of the region. Shortly in, the way forward is blocked by two log obstacles, a small one and larger one, with an Onii throwing projectiles from the western bluff. Beyond this are two Onii Hoppers having a conversation under a tree, which will attack when approached. The path sharps right past some shrubs, one of which will reveal a Hot Spring beneath if pulled up. Continuing north is an Onii Man flanked by three other Onii stood between two stray logs. Beyond this is another blockade made up of a large and small log, once again with an Onii throwing projectiles below, although a group of small pots rests nearby allowing for an ammo refill. On the other side is a particularly dilapidated road with three Onii throwing projectiles below, as well as more refill pots, and towards the end of this path is a blockade of a large log and two rocks guarded by three grounded Onii. This is the final obstacle before the entrance to the Onii King's arena, which is marked by a sign and a God Memo, as well as some small stone piles. However, continuing past the entrance to the west reveals a little clearing with a rock patrolled by an Oniion Ring. Breaking the rock open reveals another Hot Spring.

Upon returning to the area after it has been conquered, all Onii will be gone, except for some that occasionally emerge from generated holes. The path will now feature several stray Rodeo Cows sleeping peacefully until disturbed. Corobo can also access this region by dropping off some designated ledges from the inner clifftop and outer clifftop. Some of these ledges contain holes with collectibles and treasure, requiring Corobo to fall back down to the main path to collect them.
