Haunted Zone 2 (心霊スポット, Zoku shinrei supotto) is a region of the Skull Plains, and the location of the eleventh Wonder Spot. It lies next to a Broadcaster-shaped peninsula on the northern coast. It is the sequel to Haunted Zone 1.
Geography
The second Haunted Zone can only be accessed after defeating TV Dinnah and gaining the Broadcaster to destroy the TV in front of the northern area of the Skull Plains, and heading east, which leads into an eerily quiet graveyard. It contains dead trees, a layer of fog, and many gravestones that initially appear to be unbreakable. There is also a Geyser in the southern section of the graveyard. At the end is a glowing gravestone with an Art piece behind it.
With some experimenting, the gravestones are in fact revealed to be breakable by a Ripped Miner or Craftian. Every gravestone produces a rock spoil, but some will also contain two Zombies, a rare UMA. The glowing gravestone produces a giant golden Zombie, which has much more health than regular Zombies.
However, upon collecting the Art piece, a hoard of fifteen Zombies rise from the ground in revenge, and the entrance is sealed off by a wooden gate. Corobo must battle the Zombies and break the gate open, which is naturally weak to Buff Miners and the Craftian. However, if every last Zombie dies, then a dozen more will rise from the ground. If Corobo hides from the Zombies, they will bury themselves in the ground again, but will remerge if disturbed.
Outside of Generated Quests, this is the only location in The World where a Zombie can be encountered.
